The Very First Fleegs – Back when it was called "Fleegle!"
On January 2, 2024, Cade Utterback came up with the first Fleegs to be used as a part of the "Fleegle!" game. Utilizing a popular groupchat among his friends, he put forth the first Fleegs. Not all of those written down were posed, but these historic Fleegs laid the foundation for the game we love today.
1. JANUARY 2, 2024 – Let’s settle this once and for all! How is “Pecan Pie” pronounced in your house? You can spell it out or send a video!
2. JANUARY 2, 2024 – Drop the hardest verse you’ve ever heard in a song! Bonus points if you send a video dropping that heat yourself!
There were also 2 other Fleegs written that never got asked in their original form:
3. What’s the song of the day, for you? (Written Jan. 2, 2024. Retooled into Sep. 5, 2024 Fleeg.)
4. If you have a roommate, sneak a picture of them! Try not to get caught! (Written Jan. 2, 2024. Retooled into Sep. 6, 2024 Fleeg.)
And that was it... for many months, anyway. It would take until August 2024 before Cade got the idea to reintroduce the game.
The Groupchat Era
On August 25, 2024, Cade once again brought back the game in the same groupchat, under the new name of "Fleeg!". The return of the game was met with some praise from those who had remembered it before. Originally, the Fleeg of the day was posed at night. These are the Fleegs that were posed while Fleeg! was a groupchat-only experience.
5. AUGUST 25, 2024 – What’s the last song you listened to, and who do you think in your friend group would be most likely to listen to the same song? Why do you think that?
6. AUGUST 26, 2024 – Whether you do or don’t want kids, or even if you have some yourself, what would you ideally name a child? And what’s one of the silliest names you’ve heard?
On August 27, 2024, the idea of highlighting the best Fleeg or set of Fleegs takes shape. The first highlighted Fleeg comes from Justin "Wimbo" Wimberly, awarded the morning of August 28.
7. AUGUST 27, 2024 – Random Fit Check! Go to your closet (or wherever your clothes are kept), close your eyes, and grab a random clothing item. What is it? Send a picture if you'd like!
8. AUGUST 28, 2024 – Even in the hardest moments, what or who keeps you going? We could all use some inspiration!
9. AUGUST 29, 2024 – Mini-Fleeg: It's 2009. You get a free day in P.E. You go to the room where they keep everything. What are you grabbing first? (Included a picture of a vibrant gym storage room full of hula hoops, various balls, those small scooter board things that crush your hands, etc.)
Normal Fleeg: Gadzooks! A mad scientist has figured out how to give you the power to revive the dead! Using this power, if you could revive one celebrity, who would you pick and why?
Surprise second mini-Fleeg: Forget bringing a celeb back to life, if you could become besties with any currently-living celebrity, who would you pick and why?
10. AUGUST 31, 2024 (Forgot Aug. 30) – What's the hardest you ever laughed at something as a kid? The kind of laughing fit you'll never forget?
11. SEPTEMBER 1, 2024 – What's a food you always thought was gross, but ended up loving once you tried it?
12. SEPTEMBER 2, 2024 – LABOR DAY – You decide to get a job in manufacturing, real blue-collar stuff! If you worked in a factory, what kind of product would you want them to make?
13. SEPTEMBER 3, 2024 – It's the zombie apocalypse!! Send a picture or video and show us what your first weapon would be based on what you have around the house!
14. SEPTEMBER 4, 2024 – Where all have you vacationed? What place, or experience, was your favorite, and why?
15. SEPTEMBER 5, 2024 – The local radio station needs your help! They're one song short in their playlist. What song would you send them to play?
16. SEPTEMBER 6, 2024 – If you have a roommate, sneak a picture of them! Try not to get caught! If you don't have a roommate, show us who you'd consider your roommate, out of everything in your room.
17. SEPTEMBER 7, 2024 – In honor of the Murray State football game tonight (they just lost), what would you want your jersey number to be if you played football? Does that number have any significance to you?
18. SEPTEMBER 8, 2024 – What's your superpower? Even if you can't fly or turn invisible, is there something you're so good at that you're convinced it's a power?
19. SEPTEMBER 9, 2024 – Making friends on a Monday! Give a name to an object you have around you that doesn't have a name. Send us a photo and show off your new friend!
20. SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 – If you could get away with one, and only ONE crime, what would it be? Would you do something small? Would you go big or go home? You can be as descriptive or secretive as you like. We're not writing this down... but police yourself.
21. SEPTEMBER 11, 2024 – “Stop, in the name of Fleeg!” If you pass a stop sign today or can get close to one on-foot while staying safe, snag a selfie with it and send it our way!
22. SEPTEMBER 12, 2024 – What’s the one compliment that’s stuck with you through the years? This isn’t part of the challenge, but give a stranger/coworker a compliment today. It just might make their day.
23. SEPTEMBER 13, 2024 – It’s Friday the 13th – a day known for being unlucky... If, today, you could use up the rest of your good luck for the year on something, would you? What would you use it on?
24. SEPTEMBER 14, 2024 – You spend way too much time on your phone! How about you go outside and touch some grass? No, seriously – go outside, take in the sunshine, and show us that you’ve touched grass today!
25. SEPTEMBER 15, 2024 – We’re getting ever-so-closer to Halloween! What’s the actual scariest thing you’ve ever seen, either in-person, in a movie, or online?
On September 16, 2024, Fleeg! moved to its own dedicated groupchat for those who wished to participate, rather than taking place in a pre-existing groupchat. This was the last revision made before the public launch on October 14, 2024.
The game at this point operated on a consistent schedule: At 9AM CST, the Fleeg dropped. Submissions were welcomed all day until 7PM CST, when the list of highlighted Fleegs was made public. The Fireside Fleeg, which you can learn more about below, was teased every night for a 9PM CST release.26. SEPTEMBER 16, 2024 – Well, you’ve made it! The world wants to hear your story. What are you naming your autobiography?
27. SEPTEMBER 17, 2024 – Start your day the RIGHT way! Send in a photo or video showing us the most important thing you use or rely on to start your day!

29. SEPTEMBER 19, 2024 – Picture this: you’re going into a Walmart with nothing in particular you need to get – you’re just browsing. What section do you go to first?
30. SEPTEMBER 20, 2024 – Finally, it’s Friday! To celebrate, send us a picture and include a haiku as a caption about what Friday means to you. Remember the 5-7-5 rule!
31. SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 – If you were able to choose, how old would you actually want to live to be?
32. SEPTEMBER 22, 2024 – Have you had any water today? Send us a selfie with your water bottle! If you’re not drinking water... what the heck are you drinking??

SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 – Looking at our old friend ROYGBIV (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet), if you could only wear one of those colors for the rest of your life, what would you pick? Don't overthink this – you wouldn't have to wear a full orange bodysuit for example - but what color would your outfits center around?
41. OCTOBER 1, 2024 – We’re going international, baby! Send us a photo or video of you with your favorite phrase in another language, and tell us what it means!
42. OCTOBER 2, 2024 – What’s the first game console you remember playing? Do you have fond memories of it?
43. OCTOBER 3, 2024 – Surprise fit check! When you get a chance today, show us what outfit you’re rockin’!

50. OCTOBER 10, 2024 – Get ready to spread some kindness! Open up Instagram, and find the first person you know in the Stories bar up top. View their story, and reply to it with a compliment! Screenshot and show us the compliment you gave!
51. OCTOBER 11, 2024 – You decide to start up a newspaper. What are you naming it?

The Fireside Fleegs...
By nature, and even to this day, Fleegs have been for a general audience; however, that didn't stop people from suggesting some more adult prompts. Drake Harbolt and Abbie Michalek were two of those people, and they were key to the creation of "Fireside Fleegs". Asked every night at 9PM, these were meant to be more adult-oriented. As such, the subject matter varies. Below, you'll find every Fireside Fleeg ever posed. Reader discretion is advised.
1. SEPTEMBER 9, 2024 – You can swap sex organs for 24 hours, but only for those 24 hours and never again. During your “Freaky Friday” of genitalia, what would you most want to do? And would you never tell a soul, or share it loud and proud?
2. SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 – How did you first discover p**nography? And a bonus question – before you knew what it really was, what did you think “sex” was?
3. SEPTEMBER 11, 2024 – What rules on swearing did your parents have for you growing up? Were there any words they weren’t okay with?

And that's about it for the Fireside Fleegs.
At this time, we don't have any interest in having Fireside Fleegs be a part of the public launch. With enough demand, we might look into it... but no promises!Post-Launch Fleegs!
Now that we're in the modern, fully-public era of Fleeg!, we've decided to keep a list of every Fleeg we pose to you. The game, for the moment, isn't truly "daily" like it was in the groupchat-only era, but this is due to us having a small staff, and the ability for anyone to answer means that our small staff might have to look through a lot of answers on any given day.
Regardless, we're still keeping track of all the Fleegs we send out. Here's what we have so far:
